Pillar 01 • Material Innovation
The range includes refillable dispensers, bulk refill containers, bamboo and agricultural-fibre accessories, and paper-based presentation options. Availability and material composition are confirmed per item.
Wall-mounted and floating dispenser options designed for replenishment from larger bulk formats.
Selected toothbrushes, shaving handles, and combs use bamboo or agricultural-fibre blends.
Kraft, grey-board, white-paper boxes, and pouches provide customisable amenity presentation.
Larger refill formats support hotels moving away from single-use miniature amenities.

Pillar 02 • Closed-Loop Circularity
In partnership with recyclers, Hotel Emporium provides hotels with a documented reverse-supply loop. Used guest toiletries are collected from properties across Sri Lanka, segregated, and directed to recycling or co-processing routes—diverting over 4 tonnes of plastic from landfill in the past 12 months.
End-User Certification: Participating properties receive formal verification certificates documenting total diverted plastic tonnage for ESG audits.
Co-Processing Standards: Non-recyclable residues undergo verified thermal destruction with zero residual landfill output.
The 5-Step Closed-Loop Journey
01
Guests use selected toiletries, refill systems, and documented amenity formats.
02
Hotel housekeeping teams collect and segregate empty amenity bottles and dispensers.
03
Hotel Emporium handles regular scheduled reverse-logistics collection across Sri Lanka.
04
Processed with recycling partners through documented recycling and co-processing routes.
05
Molded into long-life hotel items (coat hangers, bins, crates) or verified destruction.
Pillar 03 • Community Impact
Pioneered by Diversey and executed locally in Sri Lanka by Hotel Emporium in collaboration with the Embodhi Foundation, Soap for Hope transforms discarded hotel soap bars into a catalyst for community health and local livelihoods.
Kadawatha Recycling Centre: Used guest soaps are sanitized through a cold-press remolding process without water or electricity waste.
Community Hygiene: Fresh sanitized soap bars are distributed to rural schools and vulnerable communities, preventing preventable hygiene-related illnesses.
Local Livelihoods: Provides income and artisan soap-making skills to women in underprivileged communities.
